History about the temple

Mirpur Jain temple is one of the oldest temple in Rajasthan. This temple is build in 9th century A.D. The temple was built during the rule of Rajputs. In 13th century this temple was destroyed in a war by Mahmud Begada. Then in the 15th century this temple was started to renovate and rebuild. The main deity in this temple is Lord Parshwanath the 23rd tirthankar. Nowadays just the main temple with its mandap is standing, high on its platform. In that temple, there are many inscriptions also founded. There are 7 inscriptions founded in the temple which is in 12th to 15th century and inscription was founded in the temple which was 19th century. There are 4 temples includes the main temple. Other temples are Bhagvan Suparshwanathji temple, Bhagvan Mahavir Swami Temple and Bhagvan Shantinath Temple.

Mirpur Jain Temple is situated in Mirpur village in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, India. This temple is build in 9th century. The domes, pillars and borders gives the temple a unique structure. The carvings are eye catchy which also gives a unique beauty to the temple. The temple is comparable to Dilwara temple. The inscriptions in the temple are told about the culture of Indian mythology. The main deity in the temple was Lord Prashawanatha the 23rd tirthankara. The deity in the temple is a 90 cm tall white colored idol. This temple belongs to Sevatambara Jains. There are 3 temples in the Mirpur Jain Temple. Bhagvan Suparshwanathji Temple The main deity in the temple is Suparshwanathji. This temple belongs to Digambara Jains. The temple looks most beautiful by it's glass works. The style of the temple is Nagara style. Bhagvan Mahavir Swami Temple The main deity in this temple is Mahavir Swami. This temple is also built in Nagara style. The temple is famous for its paintings. Bhagvan Shantinath Temple The main deity in this temple is Shantinatha. This temple is also built in Nagara style. There are beautiful pillars and sanctums. Festivals of the temple The deities are placed together in one place and celebrate a ceremony. The ceremony is celebrated once in a year.
